Daedalus USA – Park City, Utah

·         Managed and Performed Budget Tracking and Forecasting. Duties included estimating initial budgets, establishing budgets after bidding, tracking changes and RFIs that might affect the budget, forecasting future budgets based on changes and potential changes, and contract management.

·         Managed and performed Change Order Analysis and Reviews for validity and scope. Produced my own counter estimates for use in negotiating final change order amount. Kept detailed analysis reports for distribution to Contractors and Owners. Over the last 2 ½ years, reviewed over $14,000,000 in change requests and approved only $9,000,000 saving clients over $5,000,000 in erroneous, excessive or duplicate requests.

·         Managed and led regular budget meetings and change order meetings. Negotiated reduced change orders. Kept and distributed minutes and change order analysis reports.

·         Managed and coordinated the Design Process and all Design Consultants. Reviewed documents finding conflicts, errors and omissions that are resolved prior to bidding saving time and cost during construction.

·         Managed and coordinated Construction Phase. Coordinated faster RFI processing and resolved field conflicts, design errors and omissions daily resulting in fewer construction delays.
